BS7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations will be published on 2 July 2018, and intended to come into effect from 1 January 2019. Installations designed and installed after this date will have to comply with the 18th Edition regulations. Birmingham Electrical Training can offer a number of training options for candidates looking to upskill their knowledge and gain the new BS 7671 18th Edition.

We anticipate that initial and ongoing demand will be high and recommend candidates book ASAP in order to avoid disappointment.

City & Guilds 2382-18 4 Day Course

This course is designed to give candidates the knowledge of the changes to BS7671 and how to apply the requirements of BS7671 18th Edition to Electrical Installations. This course is designed for candidates who gained the original 17th Edition prior to the 17th Edition: Amendment 3 (2015) or who are new to the industry and looking to gain this qualification.

City & Guilds 2382-18 2 Day Course

This course is designed to update candidates on the changes to BS7671: 18Th Edition and how these apply to electrical installations. This option is designed only for candidates who gained and have completed the BS7671: 17th Edition: Amendment 3 (2015) qualifications. Candidates will need to provide proof (copy of certificate) at time of booking for this course.
