The 2396-01 is an advanced Level 4 course designed for those involved in designing electrical installations and follows on from the C&G 2395 qualification.
There is no formal entry requirement for this qualification however candidates must hold the 18th Edition Regulations (C&G 2382-18) and one of the following inspection & testing qualifications:
The 2396-01 covers the principles, practices and legislation for the specification and design of electrical installations which includes two assessment units:
The design project requires the candidate to complete a design exercise in their own time on a pre-defined installation. Drawing plans will be provided and tutor support will be available throughout the project.
All courses include refreshments and buffet lunch.
