BS7671:2018 (2022) Amendment 2 is published on 28.03.2022 and will encompass significant changes from the current 18th Edition Regulations. Amendment 2 will come into force immediately and the current regulations will be withdrawn form 28.09.2022. Meaning that all new installations designed and installed after this date will need to encompass Amendment 2 regulations.
Our 1 Day Amendment 2 Update course is aimed at candidates and electrical contractors looking to update their knowledge on the key changes included in Amendment 2 and how this will apply to their work and designs moving forward.
Ideally candidates attending this course should have completed an 18th Edition Qualification and be conversant with the content, layout and applications of the current BS7671:2018.
Candidates should be working in the electrical industry, ideally as a fully qualified practicing electrician and should have completed an 18th Edition Level 3 Qualification previously. This course is an update course and candidates will receive a Certificate of Attendance, to confirm their attendance. Please note this course is not a formal qualification and does not include an examination and cannot be used as an 18th Edition Course to apply for a Trade Card with the ECS. Candidates who have not achieved the 18th Edition previously or those that wish to undertake a longer course and gain a formal qualification, should undertake the 4 Day City & Guilds 2382-22 Course offered by Birmingham Electrical Training.
