This is a new qualification which will allow electricians to demonstrate that they understand the fundamentals of inspection and testing with a course duration of 4 days.
This qualification was developed together with the electrical industry (including the NICEIC and ECA) in order to meet the needs of the industry and to provide candidates with an introduction in how to inspect and test (conduct the initial verification) of electrical installations.
It is aimed at practising electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update training before going on to achieve the City & Guilds 2391-52 Qualification.
It is also suitable for those with limited experience of inspection and testing of electrical installations.
